Topic abstract: Agile Project Management- The new paradigm
‘Agile Project Management’ is now being discussed and practiced in multiple organizations and many customers are also requesting their projects to be executed in Agile manner. This requires the Project Managers to be aware about Agile Project Management and its unique aspects, while implementing the projects.

This session would cover Agile manifesto and core principals of Agile Project Management. It would cover evolution of Agile and why Agile is used in multiple organizations now-a-days and the adoption pattern. The webinar would help the attendees to understand the Agile Process and the guidelines to implement projects successfully with Agile Project Management methodology.

The webinar will also cover different ways to build and strengthen the knowledge about Agile through global Community of Practices, Certification, PMI chapters and other forums.

Mr. Rahul Sudame is Director of Engineering & Agile Practice Head at Faichi Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Rahul is Senior Management Professional and Agile expert. He is a proven leader and Project/Program manager in the IT industry. He has more than 13 years of experience and is Director of Engineering & Agile Practice Head at Faichi Solutions. He was Vice President (Corporate) and Director (Programs) at PMI Pune-Deccan India Chapter. Rahul is PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Project Management Professional (PMP) and ITIL Foundation certified.

He is also certified by PMI as Leadership Institute Masters Class (LIMC). He is also involved in developing Agile awareness as Chapter Engagement Representative for PMI Agile Community of Practice. He is on the editorial committee of “OnTarget” magazine of PMI Pune Chapter. He has participated and contributed in many Project Management/ Agile conferences in India and globally. Rahul has been involved in successfully establishing Project Management/Agile/Scrum practices in multiple organizations from scratch since 2006. It involves assessment of current process maturity, developing and executing plan for process adoption and periodic reviews of successful implementation and deliveries.

He has conducted PMP, PMBOK and Project Management framework awareness sessions for various organizations such as Syntel, Zensar, Autodesk, Uniken, FinIQ, Calsoft, Accept Software, Faichi Solutions, Paranjape builders, RBI etc.

18+ years of experience in diverse fields across the global regions and over a decade in various Management roles successfully managing international projects and programs delivery of IT Infrastructure Transitions and Transformations, ERP Implementations, Application Development and transitions to operational support.

Sound experience in Aerospace / Defense, MRO / Avionic systems implementation, Engineering Consulting Services, Production Planning & Control, and supply chain management

 

Proficient with PMBOK / SPM methodology in project/program management. Adept in Coach, mentor and lead project managers, Team management, engage and manage stakeholders, influence cross functional teams and corporate training in Project / Program management.
